BACKGROUND In today's fast-paced, technology-driven world, people often feel disconnected from nature and their cultural heritage. Many things have become artificial, and we have lost touch with our native land and traditions. This problem is especially acute now, as Ukraine faces the difficult challenges of war. In times like these, it is more important than ever for people to have a strong sense of identity, to feel rooted in their culture, and to maintain a deep connection with nature. IDEA Drip is a spring drip bag coffee collection that celebrates Ukrainian nature and traditions. The collection features 5 coffee drip bags with Ukrainian flower flavors and a postcard with plantable seeds. The illustrations serve as a powerful visual narrative, preserving the beauty and richness of Ukrainian culture. Each image is a masterful blend of traditional Ukrainian motifs and contemporary design, creating a timeless aesthetic that captures the essence of the country's natural heritage. EXECUTION The illustrations of Kvit Drip feature encoded symbols of Ukrainian nature, such as land, water, rakes, and ram's horns, each representing a different stage of plant care. Carefully crafted to capture the essence of Ukrainian heritage, the illustrations emphasize the importance of preserving identity and old rituals. The illustrations also depict the Ukrainian flowers that can be tasted in the coffee, such as poppy, petunia, purslane, and marigold, creating a multi-sensory experience that evokes the flavors and aromas of Ukraine's natural bounty. RESULTS Kvit Drip quickly became Fresh Black's bestselling product at "SILPO," Ukraine's biggest retail chain store, and was featured in Vogue, The Village Ukraine, and a TV report on the national "Dim" channel. The beautiful illustrations served as a powerful reminder for Ukrainians to stay connected to their roots and the beauty of their native land, helping them maintain their sense of identity during challenging times and ensuring the continuity of their harvest rituals.
