Who needs cyber hygiene — bored teens, overconfident young adults, or older users who think it no longer concerns them? Everyone. Cyber fraud in Ukraine is a mass problem, with card-fraud losses reaching UAH 1.1 billion in 2025. That was the challenge for Diia.Education, Ukraine’s state edutainment platform by the Ministry of Digital Transformation: to get people to learn a subject they usually ignore until scammers get to them first. So instead of sounding like a government platform, we created a ridiculous, meme-native animation series built for social media. Each short turned a common scam scheme — fake voting links, suspicious prize messages, outdated software and more — into a compact comedy sketch with sharp lines, absurd settings and exaggerated sound. At the centre were Hyena the Hygiene, a spotted, crooked 2D anti-mascot, and CyberSoap, her clean, rational 3D opposite. We turned cyber safety from “homework” into shareable content — driving 175,000 users to the platform in just 6 weeks.
