Teenagers are always full of worries and hard feelings, especially about relationships and first love. In wartime, their problems don't disappear, but adults are preoccupied with practical things. This isolation leads to increased withdrawal, deteriorating mental health, and a rise in violence. According to a nationwide sociological study among youth during the full-scale war, 83% of teenagers want to learn how to support themselves and build healthy relationships. To help them, we created a series of easy-to-understand animated videos that teach how to recognize red flags in relationships and how to protect personal boundaries. Each video begins with seemingly harmless situations that reveal early signs of toxic communication. Using dynamic visuals and references to current trends like memes and pop culture, we highlight and emphasize these red flags. Our approach focused on challenging stereotypes, featuring a diverse cast of characters with toxic behaviors, including both males and females. The narrative of each video directed to a Telegram bot, offering them free access to courses on healthy communication practices or the opportunity to consult with a psychologist. The video series engaged 500,000 teenagers on Instagram, reaching nearly the maximum audience Meta's targeting allows, with views surpassing 1.2 million. These videos directed teens to a psychological support bot, resulting in over 10,000 high-quality consultations. Over 2,000 teenagers completed courses on identifying red flags in friendships, romantic, and sexual relationships. Thousands of teenagers learned to protect their boundaries, care for their mental health, and defend against abusive relationships.
