As Ukrainians, we gravitated towards creating a project that not only lightens up the effects of war but gives hope and depicts the strong, authentic image of the Ukrainian nation. The project was inspired by the folk motives of Ukrainian culture and visual symbols of Maria Primachenko's art style. We created and printed 750 postcards and posters to gather donations, spreading the idea of ‘healing and restoring our homes’ to connect people. While it started just as the idea of depicting our hopes in these mystical creatures, now it’s a big project that gathered community, took part in offline events, and continues gathering money for donations!
