ArtArmor is a unique project that aims to provide funds for Ukraine's defense efforts while turning used armored plates into artistic objects. Despite the war in Ukraine fading from global media, the lives of ordinary Ukrainians are still heavily impacted. Ukrainian defenders require armored plates, equipment for demining, and professional rehabilitation when wounded – everything that saves lives. However, the funding for these crucial needs is running short. ArtArmor addresses this issue by transforming used armored plates, which have saved lives on the battlefield, into one-of-a-kind art pieces. Through collaboration with the Ukrainian and global artist community, dozens of these art objects have been created and are currently exhibited across Europe. These art pieces will be sold in a final auction in 2024/25, and the funds raised will be used for various non-lethal purposes.   ArtArmor exemplifies how art can make a tangible impact and save lives by uniting artists from around the world and harnessing their collective talent. The project has garnered strong support in Ukraine, with endorsements from General Zaluzhnyi, President Zelenskyi and ten heads of Ukrainian government security forces involved in the country's defense efforts.   ArtArmor is now in its international phase, attracting attention through its European tour. The exhibitions occurred in Poland, Estonia, Sweden, and Germany in 2023 and the UK in 2024.
