Background Before the war, Ukraine's land fed over 400 million people globally and was home to millions of farmers producing nearly half of the nation's agriculture. Today, the same land is the most heavily mined on Earth. Tension Farming has collapsed. Fields are inaccessible. 70% of small farms have lost income. Demining is expensive, slow, and deadly. Average price of 1 hectare demining – is about 5000-7000 euro. Idea The Minefield Honey Project – is a revolutionary business model that lets farmers earn from their land for demining, without ever setting foot on it.
