Sounds of the City

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence, the sounds of seven cities of Ukraine: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Lviv, Odesa, Mariupol and Crimea - were recorded and transformed into art objects using artificial intelligence and 3D rendering.  But how to visualize sound? And that it was not stereotypical? Sound is something that has no clear form, something abstract and with blurred edges. But the essence of the project is the transformation of sounds into a sculpture — concretization of the abstract. So it’s the main idea of visual language — to show this by blurring the name, as if letters are formed from the space around. Also we use a coding font to show that sculptures are created using artificial intelligence.
