In 2023, Georgia was Granted EU Candidate Status, and like every European Union country, we are obligated to develop a deposit system law according to which large beverage companies have to install 3,000 bottle-swallowing machines across the country, which would solve the problem of plastic pollution as much as possible and also give people an opportunity to earn additional income. Moreover, the mentioned law should have been adopted by 2019 as part of the EU Association Agreement, but the Government is still taking no action. But Tene, a tiny newborn first-ever Georgian recycling social enterprise concentrating on finding innovative solutions for fighting against plastic pollution and turning them into eco-friendly USB cables in partnership with Edison Tech Solutions, as the majority of Georgian society could not wait more for the Government and decided to help the country to fulfill its obligations for save saving its future. Introducing the first all-Georgian bottle swallower, which happily swallows any plastic bottle and, in return, gives one of the three: Tene crypto coins, which you can exchange in our USB cables, 10 minutes to charge your phone, or big thanks for the commitment caring about planet & country! And to launch this real-time Plastic Monster, we chose the scariest day of the year - Halloween - we turned our bottle swallower into the Swallowzilaa and placed it in the most crowded park in Georgia near Lisi Lake. And then it got really, really scary because various creatures started to take stories, influencers were sharing us and, when we posted what we did, oooh, nooo, people demanded to have the Swallowzilaa in the streets and tagging government official pages. So, in one day, we reached 60% of the Georgian population; moreover, EFES Georgia, our nation's beer industry leader, reached out to us to launch a Crypto Refund Scheme (CRS) to tokenize beverage packaging waste, aiming to save 6,000 tons of plastic from Georgia's 15,000-ton annual bottle waste in phase one, and we've already teamed up. But we are mostly proud that we received official mail from our beloved Government to help them fulfill the obligations we almost fulfilled without them.
