Креативна ідея:
Brief: Despite the successful operation of the deposit system for recyclables since 2016, there is still a significant amount of litter in nature. The project aimed to motivate people to adopt more sustainable and responsible behavior when enjoying nature, particularly in parks, forests, and meadows. We had to choose a non-moralizing approach, avoiding shock or negative tactics. Instead, focus on encouraging people to actively use the deposit system, collect, sort, and recycle waste with positive emotions, humor, irony, and vigor. Execution: Given that there are as many dramatic plots in nature as there are in a suspense thriller, we can assume that this is one of the reasons people enjoy watching nature documentaries. As a result, we wanted to present our problem in the style of a nature program. We have selected the most common types of litter found in nature and called them "unendangered species". Plastic bag, tire, and disposable packaging participating in the deposit system: glass, PET bottle, and can were chosen to represent those commonly found in forests, parks, and campgrounds. In the video we describe their migration, reproduction, and damage. The film, styled like a nature documentary, features Giedrius Širka, a nature enthusiast and musician, playing the main character. He is following in the footsteps of rare and mysterious species with the enthusiasm of the legendary Australian Steve Irwin. In order to replicate the manner of documentaries even more closely and to capture the viewer's attention from the very first seconds, we invited Giedrius Arbačiauskas, who has voiced a number of BBC and other world-class nature documentaries in Lithuanian television, to be the narrator of the clip.
