Almost 30% of Ukraine is mined due to russia's invasion - which means that over 10 million people are living under constant threat, with thousands unable to return home because of it. As the sappers say, '1 year of war equals 10 years of demining.' But we don't have time to wait. We need to demine Ukraine right now. So that as many Ukrainians as possible can finally return home. With this goal in mind, Kyivstar and the Come Back Alive’ Fund launched the fundraising project 'We are to live here.' The aim is to raise 175 million hryvnias to provide engineering and sapper units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with necessary equipment. The project consisted of many different manifestations, so many different materials were planned: videos, visuals, landing, and the main activation - Okean Elzy music clip. Therefore, it was necessary to create a flexible and understandable design system that would combine all of this. We built the identity on the "before/after" principle: what we have now and what we aspire to have in the future. Now we’ve got minefields, we aspire to have fields full of flowers. The main design elements work equally well as textured fills, animation, standalone visuals, and, of course, as the project's logo. Another key element of the identity is font design, which can exist both in the logo and beyond it. For example, on a music track cover.
