HOME KYIV INTERNATIONAL ADVERTISING FESTIVAL JURY

The members of the KIAF jury are leading experts in the global advertising industry across various disciplines and are one of the main values of the festival.

In the 2024 contest program, there will be 6 international jury teams and 1 client jury team formed by advertisers. The selection of jury members is conducted meticulously each year. The jury consists of international experts in the advertising field who have judging experience and have been awarded at international festivals and contests, including Cannes Lions.

Works in the CREATIVE COMMUNICATIONS and CRAFT/TECHNOLOGY blocks will be evaluated by 5 international jury teams:

Works in the SOCIAL GOALS CONTESTS block will be evaluated by a jury team of marketers and communication agency representatives with knowledge and expertise in the field of CSR and sustainable development marketing:

JUDGING PROCESS

The evaluation of the works will be conducted using a 100-point scale: from 1 to 100 points.

The judging procedure is based on the independent assessment of each jury member. As a result, each contest work will receive an independent score from each jury member and a calculated average score, which will determine the fate of the work.

Each jury team will have its own Jury Chairman. After the judging by all members, the Chairmen will finalize the list of finalists & winners (gold, silver, or bronze awards) and BEST OF CONTEST in their categories.

Four GRAND PRIX awards will also be selected – one GRAND PRIX in each block: CREATIVE COMMUNICATIONS, CRAFT/TECHNOLOGY, SOCIAL GOALS CONTESTS, and CLIENT'S VIEW.

Works for non-profit and charitable organizations cannot participate in the GRAND PRIX selection in the CREATIVE COMMUNICATIONS, CRAFT/TECHNOLOGY, CLIENT'S VIEW blocks, but will be considered in the SOCIAL GOALS CONTESTS block for the GRAND PRIX title.

Additionally, the GRAND PRIX award for works submitted and awarded simultaneously in the CREATIVE COMMUNICATIONS and SOCIAL GOALS CONTESTS blocks can only be granted within the SOCIAL GOALS CONTEST block.
