RULES & ELIGIBILITY
Prior to registration for the Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of competition, participants must review the rules and conditions. Submission of entries signifies understanding, acceptance, and compliance with the contest’s rules.
- Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of is organized by the NGO All-Ukrainian Advertising Coalition together with LLC Advertising Coalition, Enterprise Advertising Coalition.
- Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of is open for all Ukrainian designers and participants of advertising & communication market.
- Entries that have been published or represented in the mass-media or embodied in other form (accepted by the client) during January 2025 – April 2026 incl. are accepted for participation in the competition program.
- Entries are accepted from participants from Ukraine only. The entry must not have any links or associations with projects or clients coming from aggressor countries.
- Concept projects are accepted for competition program in special category Concept Design only.
Concept Design includes:
- works performed for existing brands, but not ordered by them
- works that were performed at the request of the client, but not accepted by him, ie were not implemented
- works performed for fictional clients - A separate category is Student Design, where works created by students as part of their course can be submitted.For student entries there is condition: entrant must have the status of student at an educational institution and have confirmed this by uploading a scanned copy of their student ID or other document confirming the creation of the work within the framework of the educational course.
- In the case, when different entrants want submit the same entry in the same category, only one entrant may submit an entry within a category , i.e. either the agency or the production company may enter a piece that both parties have worked on, but not both. One entry/campaign may be submitted into the different categories.
- You have permission to enter your entries from the commissioning clients/brand-owning companies. We may request proof of this permission at any time and contact the client related to any entry at the request of the Jury at any time during the voting process.
- The entry should be submitted as originally published/aired/released, with no changes, for participation.
- The entry must not be speculative advertising and must not have been banned or withdrawn from airing.
- A senior officer (CD, CEO or Chairman) from your company has given permission for entries to be entered.
- The entry (incl. all materials) must be formed in English.
- All entry materials and documentation must be submitted till the last deadline. Payment must be received until 10 May 2026.
- Submitting an entry requires payment of the entry fee, and non-payment of the invoice does not automatically cancel the registration.
- By uploading and submitting entries to the competition online, entrants undertake to pay entry fees. Failing to pay the invoice does not automatically imply cancellation of the entry registration. All entries submitted to the competition will be judged, and the payment of fees will be due, unless the entries are withdrawn, in writing, before 1 May 2026. Entries cannot be cancelled or removed from the competition after 1 May 2026. You understand that, if you withdraw your entry after 1 May 2026 you will not receive a refund, and payment for enteries should be done in any case.
If you wish to withdraw your entry, you must notify us by email to festival@vrk.org.ua, project@vrk.org.ua or call (044) 490 90 30. - For entries submitted in the Student Design category on a free-of-charge basis, it is mandatory to add the completed entry to the cart and complete the registration process, even if no entry fee applies to such entries.
- In the case that additional information of the campaign becomes available after you have submitted your entry, organizers will accept updated and additional information relating to the results section only up to 1 May 2026.
- By submitting an entry and paying the fee, the entrant confirms that they hold the legal right to participate in the contest under these rules. The entrant guarantees compliance with copyright (legal use of music, photos, texts, etc.) and undertakes to resolve any disputes on this matter with third parties independently.
- For the purpose of promoting the contest the organizers may screen, publish, or reproduce any materials submitted to the site.
- Entries that do not meet all the listed requirements may be deemed ineligible for KIAF 2026. Non-compliance with these requirements may result in disqualification or withdrawal of the entry without refund.
ENTRY SUBMISSION RULES
- All entry forms must be completed online at https://creative-stories.com.ua/.
- Entry is a filled-in online form with correctly uploaded materials according to technical requirements.
- All entries must be compliant with these rules, technical requirements, and must have been launched to the public, published/aired/released (except for the categories of CONCEPT DESIGN and STUDENT DESIGN).
- Entries forming a campaign (or series) of several works must be submitted as a series/campaign of entries. Each entry in the series is paid separately.
- Entries must be formed in English. The entry materials (video, image, sound video, case film) should be submitted in English.
All materials must be submitted for judging exactly as published, aired or implemented and may not be modified for awards entry. - In your personal account, when creating an entry for the Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of, the following sections are mandatory: “Entry Type,” “Written Entry Data,” “Media files (Upload),” and “Select contest & categories.” The description section for IAB MIXX Awards should be skipped if the entry is not being submitted to that competition.
- All judging materials will be shown to the jury in digital format. Please make sure that any material provided can be easily understood and shown to the jury.
- Confidentiality of judging: Entry should not include an agency’s name or logo anywhere in the entry form or creative materials. The jury shouldn’t know whose entry they judge.
- When registering an account, make sure that the information entered is correct and up-to-date, as it is used by the Organizing Committee to contact the participant.
The content of the field "Entrant name" is duplicated on the website, in the diploma and the Awards Ceremony, so please enter the name of the agency/company without quotes, brackets and ownership.
Please carefully check and re-check the credits you have entered. These credits will be published on our website exactly as you have typed them.
