Creative idea:
It’s 2016. A new player emerges in the Ukrainian video production market — NO STARS. It's 2024 now and NO STARS are kind of superstars now. With years of experience behind their back and the country's biggest companies among their clients. Yet, their identity remains unchanged since the beginning. So it needed a revamp to reflect the level the production has reached in the last 8 years. Initially, we highlighted the production's main superpower — the ability to work hard on every single detail to achieve the best results. This led to the birth of the brand's new philosophy — "IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL WOW". The main visual element of the identity is the crossed-out star — a symbol of the eternal pursuit of perfection, which doesn't really exist. Therefore, this movement towards "wow" will never cease. Moreover, the star is highly versatile; it can transform into any object resembling its shape and serve various purposes, such as an individual object, texture, or image container. When updating the logo, we decided not to do any radical changes, as the previous NO STARS logo remains recognizable in the market. So, we refined it: enhancing its character by cutting off the outer rounded corners of the letters. We also developed compositional versions for various applications. One of the producer's languages is presentations and documents. So it's essential for the team to find the new identity convenient to use, and for clients to understand it easily. That’s why we analyzed all the specifics of the materials and created numerous slide and document templates based on that. And how could we omit digitization in 2024, especially in production? We found a solution to transfer thousands of shooting prints into digital. For this, we created and designed a mini-website for shootings, accessible via a QR code on a badge. There, all the necessary information is available: shooting plans, call sheets, and most importantly — catering menus.
