Media Craft at KIAF 2025

The use of new technologies in media, data-driven campaigns, strategic media thinking, and pinpoint audience targeting – all reflect the expertise of media agencies in creating impactful campaigns for their clients. These are exactly the kinds of projects that will be recognized in the Media Craft contest at the Kyiv International Advertising Festival (KIAF) 2025.
We invite media agencies to take part in the Media Craft contest within the Craft/Technology block. This contest highlights innovative and skillful use of media for effective brand communication. Entries should emphasize the critical role of technology, data, targeting, and executional excellence in achieving successful outcomes.
Judging criteria will include:
● Media strategy
● Media execution
● Impact and results
The contest consists of five categories:
- Use of Technology/New Realities – use of existing or new technology to execute or support a media campaign that creatively pushes the boundaries of existing platforms or media formats.
- Use of Data: Data Integration/Real-Time/Targeting – entries that are inspired or based on data. Entries must demonstrate how a media execution was enhanced or driven by data. Includes use of data-driven insight, use ofreal-time data, use of data-driven targeting, use of data specifically generated from social media, use of data integration.
- Excellence in Media Insights & Strategy – target audience reach in media campaign and use of unlocked insights and understanding of consumer behaviours/needs in order to develop a customised media strategy to meet a brand’s specific business objectives, marketing goals and overall positioning.
- Excellence in Media Planning – The sourcing and selection of media platforms to deliver a brand's message. Entries should detail reach, penetration and frequency of the message to generate the desired response.
- Excellence in Media Execution – entries should demonstrate how media thinking and skilful negotiations with media owners contributed to the execution of a campaign across selected channels and achieved business goals.
This contest serves as a platform to recognize top-tier media solutions that influence audience behavior, engage consumers, and amplify brand communication.
Submissions are open. Regular Deadline – April 1. Last Minute/Final Deadline – April 25.
