GRAPHIC DESIGN & BRANDING category focuses on many traditional aspects of the graphic design world, from logos and corporate branding to posters, illustrations, book design, multi-page, periodicals and other promotional materials.
Mandatory files: main image (execution or presentation image).
Optional files: additional image, case film / demo film (120 seconds max), URL (content or presentation webpage).
Identity solutions across multiple brand touchpoints: corporate design, corporate design guide, corporate promotional items, brand book, brand design, brand promotion, brand stationery, etc. Includes сreation of a new brand/corporate identity and rebrand/refresh of an existing Brand as well.
Branding and identity of a specific marketing or advertising campaign.
A graphic image that identifies a company or product. Includes static and motion logos.
Printed or digital communications containing information about a brand, product, service, or message. Includes multi-page catalogues, pamphlets, booklets, brochures, promotional materials at the point of sale etc.
Design for stationery. Includes greeting cards, invitations, stamps and calendars.
Including: clothing, promotional gifts and samples, guerrilla marketing accessories, promotional items and brand merchandise, DM-materials and original business gifts.
May include editorial, magazine & newspaper, corporate publishing, design for digital publications. Includes cover design.
Design of books, covers and illustrations. Includes printed, digital and ebooks as well as connected books that work alongside an app.
Design of the poster: ads, event posters, festival posters etc. The item should have been created as a poster, not a concept conceived for another medium and applied to a poster format. Can be both printed and digital. Posters forming a campaign (or series) of several posters must be submitted as a series/campaign of entries. Each entry in the series is paid separately.
Use of illustration/photography for multi-page publications, ads, posters, packaging, calendars, covers etc.
Graphic representation of data. Can be static or dynamic forms of charts, maps, graphs, custom content, etc.
The execution of design with the intention of increasing engagement through social media platforms. This may include visual content for Facebook, Instagram, X, Snapchat, TikTok etc.
Sonic branding that appears across various customer touchpoints to tell a brand's story. Includes sonic logos, sounds or jingles created specifically for brands.
Mandatory files: main image (execution or presentation image), film or sound video 180 seconds max.
The use of artificial intelligence to automate or enhance the graphic design creation process. This category includes projects where AI was actively utilized in generating visual elements, designing logos, creating illustrations etc.
Design that explores new ideas, devices, or methods in its execution and pushes the boundaries of the discipline.
Included here are designs that do not fall under any of the other categories. Each submission may become a reason for a new category in future.
Unrealized projects can be registered only in the Concept Design subcategory, in all other subcategories only implemented projects can be submitted.
Concept Design includes:
- works performed for existing brands, but not ordered by them
- works that were performed at the request of the client, but not accepted by him, ie were not implemented
- works performed for fictional clients
