CMIFF stands for the Carpathian Mountain International Film Festival. CMIFF fosters the appreciation of cinema, particularly films related to mountain themes, and draws attention to the cultural heritage and natural beauty of the Carpathian region. The festival unites participants and viewers from around the globe, showcasing films from various countries and promoting cultural exchange. As a prominent event in Ukraine's cultural life, CMIFF has attracted cinema lovers from over 40 countries, including France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Israel, the USA, Denmark, Korea, Australia, Sweden, the Netherlands, and others, highlighting its international significance. The festival creates a unique atmosphere that inspires lovers of mountain landscapes and nature. This atmosphere helps achieve the main goal of the project—to attract the attention of the global film industry to Transcarpathia and Ukraine. We have developed the identity and subtly refined the existing logo, also evolving a recognizable style for the festival that can develop and evolve year after year. The foundation of the visual style is a photo card with folded corners. These form a multitude of rhythmic compositions that replicate the silhouette of the logo and mountain landscapes. This method is extremely flexible, allowing to create shapes to be adapted for a wide range of applications. The 'unfolding' effect evokes a sense of new discovery, thrilling experiences, and mountain adventures. Despite the challenging times of war, CMIFF continues to provide a vital platform for dialogue, experience exchange, and drawing international attention to the region.
