Today, preserving and reproducing one's own culture is more important than ever. Pysanka (painted Easter egg) is one of the most interesting and exciting forms of Ukrainian decorative art. Its history dates back to the distant past of the Ukrainian people and is connected with a pagan ritual of praising the coming of Spring. As a result, we have developed an NFT collection of Easter eggs with authentic patterns and characters. A variety of unique patterns from all regions of Ukraine tell different stories, where each Easter egg is an important element of self-identification. We have revived and documented Easter egg patterns from the book “Ukrainian Pysanky” by Erast Binyashevsky (published in “Mystetstvo”, Kyiv, 1968)”.
