UCS 2025 announces the start and new AI contest categories

The four advertising festivals in Ukraine (Ukrainian Creative Awards/UCA) – Kyiv International Advertising Festival, ADC*UA Awards, Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of and MIXX Awards Ukraine – have officially opened submissions for their 2025 contest programs. This year’s festivals introduce new competition categories dedicated to projects utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). Submissions are now open on creative-stories.com.ua.
In the new season, participants can expect exciting innovations and expanded opportunities for participation and success, aimed at a wide range of advertising industry players and representatives of the creative community. The UCA contest programs have been adapted to better reflect the current realities of the industry, considering its dynamic changes, new challenges and emerging opportunities.
A special focus on the development of AI has become one of the key updates. This year, the contest programs of the Kyiv International Advertising Festival (KIAF) and Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of have been expanded with categories dedicated to AI-driven projects. Moreover, KIAF has introduced AI as a distinct track within the Creative Communications and Craft/Technology sections.
"The whole world is advertising and we are its creators" is the slogan of Ukrainian Creative Stories 2025, reminding us of the power of communication to change the world. Advertising is an art form that shapes perception and influences the future because behind every advertising artifact lies a deeper mission and idea. Ukrainian Creative Stories brings together creators to inspire advertising to be true art. The creative concept for UCS 2025 was developed by the marketing communications agency Brain Tank.
Ukrainian Creative Stories consist of the contest part (UCA) and live events that will take place on May 28-30, 2025, including award ceremonies, seminars, masterclasses and more.
Each contest within the Ukrainian Creative Awards has its unique focus and features:
- Kyiv International Advertising Festival is an international advertising festival with a wide range of contests and categories covering key areas in advertising and the creative industry. Your work will compete on equal footing with projects from around the world, with a prestigious international jury selecting the most creative entries.
- ADC*UA Awards is a national competition that selects the best Ukrainian works in advertising and communication design, providing the opportunity to participate in the European contest – ADCE Awards.
- Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of is a national competition created to recognize the best design solutions and projects from Ukraine, offering recognition among leading Ukrainian designers and evaluation by an international jury.
- MIXX Awards Ukraine is an influential digital advertising contest under the auspices of IAB, celebrating unique digital marketing campaigns with creative ideas and effective solutions at the global, European and local levels.

All entries for participation in the four festivals must be submitted through a single platform – the creative-stories.com.ua website, which was created and is maintained by the digital partner CF.Digital. If you plan to submit a project to multiple competitions, you only need to upload it once and can then easily add it to the relevant categories or contest programs.

We remind you that KIAF, ADC*UA Awards, Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of and MIXX Awards Ukraine are part of the National Ranking of Creativity and Craft of Ukraine. Based on the results of these competitions, the industry leaders will be determined – the most creative communication agencies in the country.
