SOCIAL MEDIA & INFLUENCER
Advertising through social media. Entries that spread the brand message through public sharing, commenting and expressions of opinions and content. Results are measured by reach in views, likes, shares, comments, user-generated content, etc. Eligible entries include but not limited to creative solutions which utilize Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Influencers (a celebrity, social ambassador or social influencer) to increase audience engagement.
Evaluation criteria: idea, strategy, execution and impact.
Mandatory files: main image (execution image or presentation board), case film/demo film (120 seconds max). Film video is required for category A07-04 SOCIAL VIDEO, and main image and case film/demo film are optional files for this category.
Optional files: additional image, film or sound video, awards show film, URL (content or presentation webpage).
Utilizing a single social media platform, that leverages network's specific functionalities or strengths. This includes, but is not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitch, X/Twitter, Threads, etc.
Utilizing multiple social media platforms, that leverage each particular network's specific functionalities or strengths. Cannot be a cut/paste of work across mediums, must use the strengths of each.
This includes, but is not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitch, X/Twitter, Threads, etc.
Branded posts (single, series or for multi-platform) around a central theme on social networks, utilizing each particular network's specific functionalities and strengths. Campaigns should have been created specifically for distribution on social media channels.
One-off videos created for gaining or engaging an audience and promote a brand, product, message, or service through social sharing, and which are comprehensible with and without sound. Videos should have been created specifically for distribution on social media channels. This can include livestream videos.

Optional files: case film/demo film (or `making of`) 120 seconds max, URL (content or presentation webpage which explains your work).
Social activity intended to involve, engage, and inspire the audience to participate and create their own content that furthers the original idea and message. The ultimate collaboration between brand and user.
Branded social content that encourages active participation from users to trigger engagement and interaction with the brand.
The real-world stunts or activations intended to trigger social media response and interaction.
Partnership with an established social media influencers or celebrities to enhance or promote a brand through that influencer's audience and style and increase social engagement and drive brand awareness.
Two or more brands working together to create a work specifically for distribution on social media channels. Sponsorship and/or partnership programmes to support a product or service in order to enhance the image of a corporate brand, organisation or corporation.
Works enhanced or driven by data. Work entered can also be about, but not limited to, data collection and research, data visualization, and data integration. Includes internal or external data; big data, real time data, competitive data, data storytelling, social media data, etc.
Groundbreaking, new, unique, or exceptionally creative use of social media to promote the brand. Works that explore new or transformative ideas and concepts that push the discipline forward.
Risk-taking, courageous, fearless, daring ideas are behind this work. The concept could have easily been rejected along the approval process or by the client, but brave choices made it happen. Entries must include the information about any context necessary to understanding why this was a brave idea.
Combines creative ideas and a breaking news story or a trending topic to generate maximum coverage and social media engagement for a brand, leading to an immediate impact. Work done with in-the-moment, original, thinking, fast reaction, and an investment in craft.
