Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of is a national competition created to discover new names, document the best design projects in Ukraine, and present them to the international professional community.
Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of was created to show design as it is today: bold, professional, and diverse in form. The competition celebrates the best design solutions in Ukraine and works across key areas of contemporary design — from visual identity and digital products to video, product, and environmental design.
A key feature of the competition is its exclusively international jury. Entries are evaluated by designers, art directors, architects, and creative leaders from around the world. This ensures an independent perspective, no local bias, and fair evaluation according to global professional standards. The like | dislike voting format makes the process максимально transparent: to become a finalist, a project must be liked by the majority of the jury, and to win, it must be liked by every jury member in its category.
The competition program covers five key areas of contemporary design: Graphic Design & Branding, Digital Design, TV/Promo & Video Motion Graphics, Product Design, and Environmental Design. This structure allows designers from different specializations to find their category and be evaluated within the proper professional context.
In addition, the competition offers the opportunity to submit conceptual projects in the Concept Design subcategory and supports young professionals through the free student category Student Design — a space for a start and first professional recognition.
Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of is part of the Ukrainian Creative Awards program, which takes place within the Ukrainian Creative Stories event, and is also included in the National Creativity and Craft Ranking of Ukraine 2026. This means participation contributes not only to personal recognition but also to professional reputation across the entire industry.
